These terms apply when you use thegrubshack.co, including when you place an online order for pickup. The website is run by The Grub Shack LLC, 1442 Old Gilliard Rd, Ridgeville, SC 29472 ("we", "us"). By using the website or placing an order you agree to these terms.
1. Online ordering
Online orders are for pickup at the restaurant only. We do not deliver.
The menu, prices and availability on the website come from our point-of-sale system and can change at any time, including after you have added an item to your cart. We check every order when it arrives; if something you chose is no longer available, the website will tell you and you can change your order.
An order is placed when you receive an order number on screen. The pickup time you choose is a request: we will do our best to have your order ready then, but busy periods can cause delays.
Please add any allergy or dietary needs in the notes for the kitchen, and call us if it matters. Our kitchen handles common allergens, and we cannot guarantee that any item is free of them.
Alcohol is not sold through the website.
2. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars. Sales tax is added as our point-of-sale system charges it and is shown before you pay. When you pay online, a 5% hospitality fee is added to the food total before tax. It is shown before you pay, and returned with the rest of your payment if we cannot fulfil your order.
Depending on what we offer at the time, you either pay at the counter when you pick up, or pay online by card when you place the order. Online card payments are processed by our payment processor, Datacap; your card details are entered directly with them and never reach our website.
All sales are final. If we cannot fulfil your order, we return the full amount to the card you paid with: a payment cancelled on the day it was made is voided, and one cancelled later is refunded. How soon the money shows on your statement depends on your card issuer, and is usually a few business days.
3. Orders not collected
Please collect your order at the time you chose. Orders are held until the end of that day's business hours. Orders that are not collected by then are not refunded.
4. Events and tickets
Event tickets are sold through QuixTix (quixtix.co), not through this website. Ticket purchases are subject to QuixTix's own terms and policies.
5. Using the website
Please use the website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with it or with other people's use of it. Do not place orders you do not intend to collect, or use automated tools to place orders.
The text, photographs, logos and design of the website belong to The Grub Shack or are used with permission, and may not be copied for commercial use without our written permission.
6. Accuracy and liability
We work to keep the website accurate, but menu descriptions and photographs are for guidance and dishes may vary. The website is provided "as is".
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.
7. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina.
